:: Valid passport for six months upon exit
:: Two adjacent (facing) blank pages in passport
:: One recent passport photograph
Please fix the photograph to the application form with a paper clip. The embassy may reject your visa application if you use staples or glue.
:: One completed and signed application form
The application form must be completed using black ink and block capital letters. It must be completely flat when submitted to the embassy, so please do not fold or crease it in any way.
PLEASE NOTE: Applicants whose current nationality and country of birth are not the same must confirm their previous nationality on the application form. If you have never been a citizen of the country in which you were born, you must submit a copy of your birth certificate. For British citizens born outside the UK, this must be legalised by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). Please contact us if you require assistance with legalisation.
If you hold dual nationality or are not a UK citizen, your birth certificate must be legalised by the Saudi Arabian embassy in the country of birth.
:: Completed declaration form
Please print your name, then sign and date both the Arabic and English sections of the declaration at the bottom of the application form.
:: Completed travel questionnaire
Applicants must complete and submit a questionnaire regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).
:: Original business introduction letter
The letter of introduction from your UK employer must be an original, signed document, on official company letterhead. It must include your name, the duration and purpose of travel, details of any organisations to be visited while in Saudi Arabia, and confirm moral and financial responsibility for your trip. The letter should be addressed to the consular department of the Saudi embassy, and must be stamped by the Chamber of Commerce.
:: Formal Undertaking stamp
This must be provided either by the London or Arab Chamber of Commerce. We can obtain a stamp from the Arab Chamber on your behalf for an additional fee. Please contact us for further information.
:: Letter of invitation
Issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the letter of invitation must be obtained by the company you’re planning to visit and then submitted to us with your other application documents. Female travellers require a final approved invitation from the Ministry.
:: Medical insurance
The embassy requires all visa applicants to purchase a medical insurance policy from a list of approved providers before a visa can be issued. The insurance is compulsory, regardless of any existing medical cover. Please note you must still obtain a new policy as part of the visa application process, even if your existing medical insurance is with one of the embassy-approved providers. The cost of medical insurance ranges from £10 to £250, and the embassy also charges a registration fee of around £10.
We can help you obtain the necessary insurance policy, and will make no additional charge for the service. Please contact us if you require further information.
