The letter of introduction from your UK employer must be an original, signed document on company letterhead. It should note purpose of travel (please include as much detail as possible), provide details of the organisation(s) to be visited in Papua New Guinea, and accept moral and financial responsibility for your trip.
:: Letter of invitation
The letter of invitation must come from a business or organisation in Papua New Guinea. It should be on official letterhead, signed by a company officer with contact details included. The letter should include your name, purpose of visit, duration of stay, location of business and – for multiple-entry visa applications – the proposed frequency of visits.
VISA ON ARRIVAL
Depending on your nationality, you may be able to obtain a single-entry visa, valid for up to 30 days, on arrival at Jacksons International Airport. However, the fees (payable in PNG kina) and requirements are the same and there is no guarantee of entry. We therefore strongly advise applicants to obtain a visa before travelling.
