All Nigerian visa applications must be completed online, and the consular fee paid via the same online service.
Follow the Application Form link (below right) to the Nigerian Immigration Service website. Select United Kingdom from the ‘processing country’ dropdown box, then click the ‘start application’ button at the bottom of the page. When you’ve completed the form, print it out, sign and send to us, along with the Visa Acknowledgment Slip and Visa Payment Slip. (Please ignore the interview date printed on the Payment Slip; we will book an appointment to submit the application and attend on your behalf.)

Please note, the Immigration Service requires that the first and last names on the credit card used to make your online payment MUST match the first and last names in your passport. If this is likely to be a problem, please contact us before starting your application.

Applicants must complete and submit a questionnaire regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).
:: Proof of accommodation
Please submit a copy of a confirmed hotel, guest house or motel booking, ensuring the name of the applicant is clearly visible.

:: Original bank statement, plus photocopy
This must be no more than three months old, and should clearly show your name and address, plus a credit balance of at least £500 (not including any overdraft facility).
:: Proof of travel
Please provide a copy of a paid flight ticket, to clearly show the dates on which you will enter and leave Nigeria.
:: Letter of purpose
This must be an original, signed document, addressed to the Visa Section, Nigerian High Commission, 9 Northumberland Avenue, London, WC2N 5BX. (Failure to include this address may result in the rejection of your application.) It should state the purpose of your visit to Nigeria and include a detailed itinerary for the planned duration of stay.
:: Proof of residence
Non-UK passport holders must submit a residence card OR have visa residency stamped inside their passport. This must be valid for at least six months at the time of application. Please provide both the original and a good quality photocopy.
EU nationals must provide two recent utility bills OR a signed tenancy agreement instead. The bills must be for different utilities and should be no more than three months old. Mobile phone bills and bank statements are not acceptable. Please provide both the original(s) and a good quality photocopy.
:: Proof of previous Nigerian visa(s), if applicable
Travellers applying for a multiple-entry visa must have held (and used) at least two previous Nigerian visas, issued by the Nigerian High Commission in London. If they are in an expired or second passport, rather than the one you’re using to apply for the new visa, you must provide both passports in order for the High Commission to consider your application. Applicants who fail to provide necessary proof of previous trips may be charged for multiple entry but only issued a single-entry visa.
PLEASE NOTE: All applicants are required to provide biometric information in person at the Nigerian visa processing centre in London on the day of application.
