:: Proof of residence
Non-UK passport holders must submit an original, valid UK residence card/permit, or have proof of residence in their passport.
:: Business introduction letter
The letter of introduction from your UK employer must be an original, signed document on company letterhead. It should note duration and purpose of travel, provide details of the organisation(s) to be visited in Lebanon, and accept moral and financial responsibility for your trip.
:: Letter of invitation
The letter of invitation must come from a business or organisation in Lebanon. It should be on official letterhead, signed by a company officer with full contact details included. The letter should include your name, the duration and purpose of your visit, and proof that the sponsoring organisation is certified in Lebanon.
If the inviting party is not Lebanese, they must also supply proof of residence for a minimum of three months.
:: Proof of travel
This should be provided as copies of an onward or return flight booking and a confirmed hotel reservation.
:: Bank statements
Please submit bank statements covering the last three months as proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your trip.
VISA ON ARRIVAL
Depending on your nationality, you may be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at Beirut International Airport. However, a fee will still be charged and there is no guarantee of entry. We therefore strongly advise applicants to obtain a visa before travelling.
