The letter of introduction from your UK employer must be an original document on company letterhead, addressed to the High Commission. It should note duration and purpose of travel, and provide details of companies or organisations to be visited in Kenya. The letter must be signed by an authorised individual and should confirm acceptance of moral and financial responsibility for your trip.
:: Letter of invitation
The letter of invitation must be an original document, written on company letterhead, from a business or organisation in Kenya. It must include the signature and printed name of the inviting party as well as the applicant’s full name. The letter should note the purpose and duration of travel, and confirm source of financial responsibility while in Kenya.
:: Proof of previous visits, if applicable
Travellers applying for a multiple-entry visa must submit proof of at least three previous visits to Kenya (copies of visas).
The introduction and invitation letters you provide should also detail the need for multiple entries.
You may be able to obtain a visa on arrival in Kenya. However, a fee will still be charged and there is no guarantee of entry. We therefore strongly advise applicants to obtain a visa before travelling.
The Kenyan immigration service also offers a single entry e-Visa, valid for a maximum stay of 90 days. Please contact us for further information, or if you would like us to make an eVisa application on your behalf.
