Non-UK passport holders must submit an original, valid UK residence card/permit, or have proof of residence in their passport.

The letter of introduction from your UK employer must be an original document on company letterhead, addressed to the High Commission. The letter must be signed by an authorised individual and should confirm acceptance of moral and financial responsibility for your trip.

::    Letter of invitation

The letter of invitation must be an original document, written on company letterhead, from a business or organisation in Kenya. It must include the signature and printed name of the inviting party as well as the applicant’s full name. The letter should note the purpose and duration of travel, and confirm source of financial responsibility while in Kenya.

::    Proof of previous visits, if applicable

Travellers applying for a multiple-entry visa must submit proof of at least three previous visits to Kenya (copies of visas).

The introduction and invitation letters you provide should also detail the need for multiple entries.

NB. Multiple entry visa applications will be referred to immigration headquarters in Kenya, and processing is likely to take much longer. Please contact us before submitting your application if you require further information.

You may be able to obtain a visa on arrival in Kenya. However, a fee will still be charged and there is no guarantee of entry. We therefore strongly advise applicants to obtain a visa before travelling.

The Kenyan immigration service also offers a single entry e-Visa, valid for a maximum stay of 90 days. Please contact us for further information, or if you would like us to make an eVisa application on your behalf.
