Visa Requirements


::    Passport valid for six months on entry 

::    Two blank visa pages in passport

::    One recent passport photograph

::    Completed application form

The application form must be completed online. Please ensure all questions are answered in full, and all names and details exactly match those in your passport. Once you have completed the form, print it out, then sign and date, ready to submit to us along with the other application requirements. Do not process any payment; we will handle this on your behalf.

::    Proof of residence

Non-UK passport holders must submit an original UK residence card/permit, or have proof of residence in their passport. Residence must  be valid for at least one month beyond the validity of the requested visa.

::    Travel itinerary

As proof of travel, please submit your flight booking confirmation, to include flight numbers plus dates of entry to and exit from Indonesia.

::    Proof of accommodation

::    Proof of financial means

Please submit your most recent bank statement (no more than one month old) to show a minimum credit balance of £1,000 OR travellers cheques in the same amount.

::    Business introduction letter

The letter of introduction from your UK employer must be an original document on company letterhead, addressed to the embassy. It should note duration and purpose of travel, and provide details of companies or organisations to be visited in Indonesia. The letter must be signed by an authorised individual and should confirm acceptance of moral and financial responsibility for your trip.

::    Letter of invitation

The letter of invitation must be an original, signed document on company letterhead, from a business or organisation in Indonesia. It must include full contact details for the inviting party, note the duration and purpose of stay, and confirm source of financial responsibility for your trip.

Applicants planning to attend a conference or seminar, must provide a letter/invitation from the conference host, to include details of the nature, duration and schedule of the event.

::    Immigration approval 

If you require a multiple-entry visa, your host organisation must arrange written approval through the Immigration Office in Indonesia. Please submit a copy of the approval with your application.



Additional Information


The maximum length of stay allowed on a single-entry visa is 60 days.

Visa applicants from Afghanistan, Cameroon, Guinea, Israel, Liberia, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea and Somalia will require special approval from the Immigration Office in Indonesia before travelling, and may need to submit additional documents. Processing will take significantly longer – usually from 2 to 4 weeks.

The embassy reserves the right to request additional documents in support of your visa application, and to alter or increase fees without prior notice.

No refund will be given if your visa is cancelled or rejected by the embassy.

Visa and Service Fees


Please note, all fees are charged per individual traveller. Service and processing fees are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the point of invoice. The total price of your order will depend on the product and the processing service you select. Visa fees are subject to change with no prior notice.
