:: Two recent passport photographs
Photos must have a white background and be no more than six months old. Scanned photographs will not be accepted.
:: Two copies of completed and signed application form
:: Proof of residence
Non-UK passport holders must submit an original, valid UK residence card/permit, or have proof of residence in their passport.
:: Proof of travel arrangements
Applicants must submit a copy of their flight itinerary, showing onward or return travel, and a confirmed hotel reservation OR letter of invitation from a private host in Guyana.
:: Proof of funds
Please provide a copy of your most recent bank statement as proof of sufficient funds for your trip.
:: Employer’s letter
The letter from your UK employer (or college/university for students) must be an original, signed document on company letterhead. It should confirm you are an employee of the company (or student of the university), indicate the purpose of travel and note the date you are due to return to work or study.
:: Yellow fever vaccination certificate
Applicants travelling from or via countries where yellow fever is endemic must submit an international vaccination card with their application OR ensure they are vaccinated at least 10 days prior to arrival in Guyana and present proof of vaccination at the port of entry. Entry will be denied to travellers who are unable to provide proof of vaccination.
