The Guinea Bissau visa is a form of pre-enrolment, via online application. A valid visa sticker will be issued at Guinea Bissau (Osvaldo Viera) International Airport after your biographical and biometric data (fingerprints and photo) have been collected at Border Control.
TO APPLY FOR A VISA, YOU WILL NEED:
:: Copy of passport information page
You can either submit a scan of the page(s) with your application OR send your passport in order for us to scan and upload on your behalf.
Please note, your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Guinea Bissau.
:: One blank visa page in passport
:: Completed visa order form
Click the ‘start order’ button on this page and complete the form, so we can submit a visa application on your behalf. If this is accepted, you will receive visa confirmation via email and a visa slip which serves as a receipt. Please print both, and present to the visa officer with your passport at the point of entry.
:: Recent passport photograph
You can either submit your photograph digitally with your application OR we can scan and convert it for you.
If supplying digitally, please ensure the image is a standard-format passport photograph (you can find general guidelines here) and provide it as a JPEG.
:: Travel itinerary
Please submit a copy of your round-trip flight booking confirmation. As before, you can either scan and submit this digitally or we can scan and convert it for you.
You may be able to obtain a visa on arrival at Guinea Bissau International Airport without pre-enrolment. However, you will need to present a letter of authorisation from the Migration Office of Guinea Bissau, and there is no guarantee of entry. We therefore strongly advise applicants to pre-enrol before travelling.
