:: Proof of UK residence
Non-UK passport holders must submit an original, valid UK residence card/permit, or have proof of residence in their passport.
:: Round-trip travel tickets
:: Proof of funds
If travelling independently (ie. not with a tour operator or travel agency), please submit your most recent monthly bank statement, to show a minimum credit balance of £1,000.
:: Proof of accommodation
Travellers should either provide confirmation of a hotel booking OR, if staying with friends/relatives, a letter of invitation, legalised by the local police in Cameroon. Your host must also submit a copy of their Cameroonian National Identity Card or residence permit.
:: Travel insurance
Your travel insurance must state your full name and confirm that the policy is valid for the entire duration of stay in Cameroon. Please submit a clear, colour photocopy of the policy certificate.
:: Proof of vaccinations
All travellers must be vaccinated against poliomyelitis and yellow fever, and should provide certificates confirming this status. You must also have proof of a cholera vaccination if travelling from an affected area.
:: Notarised clearance certificate
All travellers must provide a notarised clearance certificate, issued by a designated authority, to certify they have been duly tested and cleared of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
:: Birth certificate, if applicable
Travellers under the age of 18 must submit a copy of their birth certificate, and a letter of parental consent to travel. The parent whose signature is on the letter must also provide a copy of their own passport.
:: Marriage certificate, if applicable
Mixed couples must submit their marriage certificate, along with a letter from the Cameroonian partner.
