An eVisitor visa allows the holder to attend business meetings, conferences or conventions in Australia. It DOES NOT permit you to work for or provide services to a business organisation, or to sell goods and services to the general public.
It is valid for a year (or the validity of your passport if less than a year), and allows multiple entries. The maximum length of stay permitted on any one visit is three months.
The eVisitor is issued electronically, with no stamp or label added inside your passport. Upon issue, your information is recorded by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs in Australia, where it can be accessed by travel agents, airlines and Australian border agencies.
All family members, including any children travelling on your passport, require a separate visa. Please note, any applicants not intending to undertake business activities (e.g. a spouse or child travelling with you on a business trip) must apply for a Tourist Visitor visa rather than a business eVisitor.
Applicants with a criminal conviction may need to apply for a different type of visa. (If you arrive in Australia on a standard eVisitor visa, you could be refused entry.) Please contact us if you require further information.
